Concept Brief
Exploring modern kit design for New Balance Football, focusing on lightweight mesh construction, ergonomic panel shaping, and dynamic stripe graphics that celebrate Atalanta BC’s aggressive vertical play style.
The “Vertical Spirit” kit merges tradition and innovation—integrating stripe gradients to visualise motion, and structure-driven silhouettes that support elite performance. All elements were built in CLO3D with custom digital patterning and fabric simulation.
Process
All designs, graphics, patterns, and 3D builds were created from scratch. Garment blocks were manually developed, with trims, logos, and textures placed and adjusted directly in CLO3D. UV layouts and stripe designs were customised to ensure perfect alignment across the body, sleeves, and shorts. Each garment was fully constructed in CLO3D using custom flat pattern drafting, graphic texture mapping, and elastic waistband techniques, then simulated with basic kicking animations to test drape, fit, and sponsor visibility during dynamic play.
